Lakeland Funeral Home opened in 1989 to serve the needs of Vermilion and surrounding communities.
The original premise was a Presbyterian Church which was built in 1906. All subsequent additions and renovations kept the original structure as it was designed, yet still provided for modern, dignified surroundings.
Our comfortable facility will accommodate up to 100 people and our spacious showroom allows for a complete selection of caskets, urns and associated products. Whether earth burial or cremation, we are able and honored to assist families in their special time of need.
The staff of Lakeland Funeral Home are all long time residents of Vermilion, with the majority being born and raised in the area. Our knowledge of the community and the people allows us to provide unequalled, personal attention to all we serve.
